Mahoney is a Tewantin local having grown up there and now lives there with her husband and two children. She was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland in 1996 having completed Articles in the Gympie region.
Before taking a leave of absence from the profession to have children, Mahoney gained experience in many areas including Wills and Estate Planning, Conveyancing, Leasing and Litigation.
Once her children began school, Mahoney returned to the legal profession joining Butler McDermott in 2007. Mahoney practices in the areas of

Mahoney has a real interest in assisting people to plan well for their golden years, and in helping families sort through the often overwhelming issues arising after the death of a loved one.
